Privacy Policy
Ancile Strategy Group Inc. ("Ancile," "we," "us," or "our") operates ancile.ca (the "Site"). This Privacy Policy explains what personal information we collect through the Site, why we collect it, how we use and protect it, and the choices you have.
Information we collect
We collect information in two ways:
- Information you provide. When you submit our contact form, we collect your name, email address, company name (optional), and the message you send us.
- Automatically collected information. Like most websites, our hosting provider may log basic technical data such as IP address, browser type, device type, and pages visited, for security and performance purposes.
We do not use advertising trackers or sell any information we collect.
How we use your information
- To respond to your inquiry and follow up about our services
- To keep an internal record of client and prospect communications
- To improve the Site and understand how it's used
- To meet legal, accounting, or regulatory requirements
Who we share it with
We do not sell or rent your personal information. We share it only with the third-party service providers who help us run the Site and our business — for example, to securely store form submissions, send email notifications, and host the Site — under agreements that require them to protect it and use it only for the purpose we've engaged them for.
These providers may process data on servers located outside Canada. We take reasonable steps to ensure your information receives a comparable level of protection wherever it is processed.
Data retention
We keep contact form submissions for as long as reasonably necessary to respond to your inquiry and maintain a record of the relationship, or until you ask us to delete it, whichever comes first.
Your rights
Under Canadian privacy law, you can ask us to:
- Tell you what personal information we hold about you
- Correct inaccurate information
- Delete your information, subject to legal or legitimate business reasons to retain it
To make a request, email us at info@ancile.ca. We'll respond within a reasonable time.
Cookies
The Site does not currently use cookies for advertising or tracking. If that changes, we'll update this policy and, where required, ask for your consent first.
Security
We use industry-standard safeguards, including encrypted connections and access-controlled systems, to protect the information we hold. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Children's privacy
The Site is intended for business use and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top will reflect the most recent revision.
